What You Can Expect
The spearfishing adventure is an introduction to spearfishing in Paje, East Coast Zanzibar. All adventures are private, so if you are the only one in your party you will be the only one in your class. If you can snorkel, you can spearfish. We will meet at a designated location based on the surf and tides for the best water visibility. We will teach you a few things on land and then we will hop in the Indian Ocean water for Half Day adventure. You will learn about reef etiquette, invasive species and breathing techniques. We will target invasive species as well as edible fish. All edibles, we will clean and send home with you. We will provide you with your snorkel gear, weight belts, gloves, spear and wetsuit top. It is very hands on and exciting and we are sure you will have a great time and go home with some fish to share.
